VIT is a one of worlds best university,so first you findout which department or area interested and then select your department,because in engineering if you have interest in particular subject or department you can shine easily. Many companies not consider your marks in engineering but they wants your knowledge in your department.(if u have interested in particular department,you can understand all concepts easily,your job will be interest to you in future).so first search about all departments.
