No, you are not eligible to join Indian Army as an officer before completion of your B.Sc. Agriculture course. To join Indian Army, you have to appear in CDS examination which is conducted by UPSC twice a year. Candidates who have passed Bachelor's degree course in any discipline from a recognised university and those who are in the age criteria of 19-24 years are eligible to apply for CDS examination for joining in Indian Army. So, you need to complete your Bachelor's degree course from a recognised university to be eligible to apply for CDS examination for joining in Indian Army.

First thing I would like to let you know that for becoming a commissioned officer in Indian Army you basically had two options one is through NDA entrance examination and other one is through NDA entrance examination.

Now as you are interested to become a commissioned officer in Indian Army before the completion of your bachelor degree course then for that you need to appear and qualify NDA entrance examination as for CDS entrance examination the minimum educational qualification required is a bachelor degree from a recognized university.

--> Further for appearing in NDA entrance examination to join Indian Army the minimum qualifications which you must hold are as here under :-

* You must be an unmarried Indian male candidate.

* Your age must lie in between 16.5 years to 19.5 years.

* You must have completed your bachelor degree course in any discipline of your choice from a recognized board of education.

* You must hold the physical fitness as per the service requirement.

For more details and updates about NDA entrance examination you can visit the link www.upsc.gov.in.
