Candidate if you are interested in government job after completing diploma in electrical engineering then you must have to apply for the SSC JE(Staff Selection Commission-Junior Engineer) exam conducted by government to recruit new candidate in various government job vacancies. SSC JE EXAM pattern:- Two papers carried out as selection procedure:- Paper I:- Carries 200 marks and based on General Intelligence and reasoning, General Awareness. Duration of exam is 2 hours. Paper II:- Carries 300 marks and based on General Engineering that is related field candidate applied for. Duration of exam is 2 hours. Important dates for SSC JE 2017-2018:- Notification date of exam:- 14-october-2017. Last date to apply for exam:- 10- November-2017. Admit card release date:- December -2017. After completion of your Diploma course in Electrical branch, you can apply for government jobs like Assistant Engineer (Electrical), Assistant Loco Pilot, etc.,. You need to satisfy the eligibility criteria like educational qualification, age limit, etc., to apply for government job. You need to work hard as there will be tough competition for government jobs. |

Examination conducting authority is Staff Selection Commission. Diploma in Electrical Engineering candidates can apply for SSC JE post. The age limit is 18-30 years. Preparation should be of objective type of technical subjects. |

Diploma candidates in Electrical Engineering can apply for Staff Selection Commission Junior Engineering exam for jobs in Government sector. The age limit for SSC JE is 18-30 years for candidates of general category. For more job opportunities diploma candidates should apply for Joint Entrance Exam or Lateral Entry Entrance Exam for admission in Bachelor of Technology. B.Tech candidates have more job opportunities in public and private sector. |

Re: Government jobs for diploma holder in electrical branch? The best job for diploma candidates in government sector is through Staff Selection Commission Junior Engineer examination. Eligibility criteria for SSC JE exam; Minimum qualification required is diploma in any stream. Electrical engineering candidates are eligible for jobs as Junior Engineer in MES, Central Power Commission etc. The age limit is 18-30 years. Upper age relaxation are given to OBC and SC/ST candidates. You just need to focus on your technical subjects of diploma. Solve objective questions and last ten year papers for better confidence in this exam. |
