There is no distance polytechnic college in Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh that is approved by All India Council for Technical Education and University Grants Commision. AICTE has not approved any distance diploma or degree colleges. |

AICTE has not approved any polytechnic college to offer courses of diploma in engineering in distance mode. In other words distance diploma are not approved by AICTE. You should apply for entrance examination of State to get admission in diploma course. Based upon your rank in diploma entrance exam, you will get admission in regular polytechnic colleges. Some polytechnic colleges in Himachal Pradesh are: >>Dr B R Ambedkar Government Polytechnic college, Ambota. >>Devasya Polytechnic College. >>Shivalik Polytechnic College. In Chandigarh, it is Chandigarh Polytechnic college, Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology. |
