Re: What course should I take to become a Psychiatrist being a computer science student? To become a psychiatrist candidates have to pursue medical course. So, one need to pursue : MBBS. M.D. Diploma in Psychiatrist. The required minimum qualification to get admission in MBBS course is candidate must have passed 12th with PCB as main paper. Candidates have to appear and qualify in NEET or AIIMS entrance examination for admission in course. So, if you have passed 12th with PCB other than computer science as main subject then you can appear for MBBS entrance examination and pursue the courses mentioned above to become a psychiatrist. |

To become a psychiatrist, candidate firstly has to complete 11th and 12th standard in medical stream and then after he or she has to complete MBBS degree from a recognised University. After completing MBBS, one has to take admission in MD course to do specialisation course in psychiatry. |

Re: What course should I take to become a Psychiatrist being a computer science student? Psychiatrist being a computer science student MBBS degree is the basic qualification needed to do psychiatry. After completing MBBS( including internship ) one can attend various PG medical entrance exams and take MD in psychiatry which is a 3 years course. Diploma course in psychiatry or DNB psychiatrist can also be taken to become a psychiatrist. |

If you have completed your 12th standard with Biology stream then you are eligible to become psychiatrist otherwise any other disciplines student is not eligible to join quotes related to psychiatry. |
