Re: Eligibility for NIFT admission after BE third year Hi Eligibility criteria for NIFT : 1. You should be a 10+2, ie 12th pass from a recognized government board, from any school. 2. You must have studied minimum 5 subjects in your 10+2. 3. Any stream student can apply for NIFT (National Institute for fashion technology ). 4. No age limit and no. of attempts. So even when you have taken a drop, you can apply for NIFT. All the best. Regards. RJ |

Re: Eligibility for NIFT admission after BE third year pls help me.After my 10th i did my diploma in Mechanical engg(3 yr course) so that i will be eligible to get directly into 2nd year BE mech.though is passed with a 70% in diploma 2007, due to some problem i couldnt do my engineering,now from past 3yrs i am working as a mechandiser in banglore with a salary of 20000/-pm.now i would like to continue in this field only,so pls advise am i eligible to get into NIFT . also pls tell when the classes begin is there a evening clases/sunday clases and the fees structure. regards, Pranith |

I have made up my mind to quit. Due to parents pressure i had to join BE. So please tell me am i eligible for fashion technology in NIFT? |

For doing Bachelor of Fashion Technology (B.F Tech.) course from NIFT the eligibility criteria is as follows: Candidate should have completed 10+2 from any Public School/ Board/ University Examination in India or in foreign countries recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 system or should have passed grade in Sr. Secondary Examination conducted by National Open School with minimum of five subjects. NIFT has no age bar for any of the programs. |
