After completing ITI in Electrician Trade it is a very good option for you to pursue electrical engineering. You can apply for Diploma in Electrical Engineering through lateral entry and get direct admission in the 2nd year of diploma course. To apply for this diploma course you should have scored at least 50% marks in ITI Electrician Trade level.

There are many colleges/universities that offers diploma in electrical engineering through both regular and distance mode.

IGNOU i.e. Indira Gandhi National Open University is one of the best university to pursue Electrical Engineering through distance education mode.
The aspirant can apply for admission for Electrical Engineering in IGNOU either by online that is through official website of IGNOU i.e. just clicking the link http://www.ignou.ac.in/ or by just visiting the campus.
You can apply any of the admission cycle at IGNOU i.e Either in January or in July.
