Re: What is the age limit to join Indian Air force? The age limit to join Indian Air Force is 16.5-19.5 years( For NDA ) and 19-25 years ( For CDS ). To join Indian Air Force, you must have to qualify the NDA( National Defense Academy) exam after completing your 12th standard and the CDS(Combined Defense Services) exam after completing your bachelor degree. The eligibility criteria required for the NDA and the CDS exam is as follows:- 12th standard with PCM(Physics, Chemistry and Maths) from any recognized board. (For NDA). Bachelor degree with any stream from any recognized university. ( For CDS). Age:- Above mentioned. Indian nationality. Sex:- Male(For NDA) and Both male and female(For CDS). Marital status:- Unmarried. Physically fit. Mentally strong. |

UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) conducts NDA(National Defense Services) and CDS(Combined Defense Services) every year to join Indian Air Force. Age limit for above mentioned examinations(NDA and CDS) are mentioned below:- 1. NDA:- 16.5-19.5 years. 2. CDS:- 19-25 years. |

Re: What is the age limit to join Indian Air force? Hi There, You can join the Indian Air Force through NDA and CDS Examination. Both these examinations are conducted by Union Public Service Commission. UPSC conducts these two examinations twice every year. The Age limit depends on the exam through which you are seeking to join the Indian Air Force. If you are about to apply for NDA Exam, then your age must lie in between 16.5-19.5 years. And, If you are about to apply for CDS Exam, then your age must lie in between 19-25 years. This is the information I have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. Indian Air Force is one of the popular defence service in India.l Every year UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) will conduct NDA Exam twice a year to recruit the candidates into the following defence services -Army wing -Navy wing -Air Force wing Here is the complete selection procedure that you should crack -NDA Exam -Interview -Medical Test The complete eligibility criteria for this will be as follows Academic Qualification : -One should have completed 12th class with any of the stream to apply for Army wing. -But to apply for Navy and Air Force wings, it is must that the candidate should have completed 12th class with Mathematics and Physics subjects. Age criteria : -The candidates should possess an age between 16.5 years to 19 years. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for NDA Exam. If you possess the above mentioned criteria, I suggest you to have good preparation for the above selection procedure and crack it. Wish you all the best. |
