There is no requirement in percentage criteria to pursue Aeronautical Engineering in future.

To pursue this course, you must appear for Engineering entrance exam like JEE Main, JEE Advanced (after qualifying JEE Main), MH-CET, WBJEE, BITSAT, MP-PET, etc.

After qualifying anyone of the following entrance exam with decent rank, you will have to apply for counseling and then choose Aeronautical Engineering as your preferred branch.

On the basis of your preferred choice and branch, you will be allotted college after Counselling result.

Marks Percentage required in 12th board exam to apply for Aeronautical Engineering:-

Eligibility criteria to apply for Aeronautical Engineering after 12th standard:-

Educational Qualification:-

The candidate should have passed 12th standard form a recognised board with the subject of Physics Chemistry, Maths and English with at least 50% marks.

Age limit:-

The minimum age limit is 17 years and maximum age limit is 25 years and relaxation in upper age limit is given to students of reserved categories.

Aeronautical Engineering course is a four-year Bachelor's degree Engineering course in the field of Aeronautics. Candidates who have passed 12th standard board examinations with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects from a Government recognised board are eligible to pursue Aeronautical Engineering course.

You have to secure at least 60% aggregate marks in your 12th standard to get admission in best college for pursuing Aeronautical Engineering course. You have to appear and qualify the engineering entrance examination which is conducted by your respective state and participate in the counselling process according to your entrance examination rank for getting admission in Aeronautical Engineering course.

No specific percentage criteria in 12th standard is required to apply for Aeronautical Engineering course. Candidates who have passed 12th standard with PCM stream or three years Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering from a recognised institute are eligible to apply for admission to Aeronautical Engineering course. You should have to appear and qualify the National or State or University level engineering entrance examinations like JEE, BITSAT, KCET, etc., and participate in the counselling process to get a seat for pursuing Aeronautical Engineering course.

Aspirants who are interested to opt for aeronautical engineering after passing their 12th standard with PCM must have secured at least 60% marks in their intermediate and 5% relaxation is given to SC and ST students.
Selection to aeronautical engineering is mainly done through the entrance examination that is Joint Entrance Engineering Test.
