Re: What is the equivalent intermediate to do after completion of three years polytechnic diploma course? If you have qualified 10th board and 3 years of diploma it is equivalent to intermediate . Now you can take lateral entry in any engineering college for the admission , this will be good for your future job if you complete engineering with good grades. |

You can pursue undergraduate course in Engineering/ Technology after completion of your Polytechnic Diploma course. You can get direct admission in second year of undergraduate Engineering course through lateral entry admission process being a Diploma holder. You have to appear and qualify the lateral entry entrance examination and participate in the counselling process for getting admission for pursuing undergraduate Engineering/ Technology course. |

After completion of your three years polytechnic Diploma course, you can pursue your higher studies in Bachelor's degree courses like B.E/ B.Tech. Being a Diploma holder, you are eligible to get direct admission in second year of four years Engineering course through lateral entry admission process by appearing and qualifying the lateral entry examinations like LEET, ECET, JELET, etc., which is conducted by your respective state technical board of education. By qualifying the entrance examination, you need to participate in the counselling process for getting admission in Engineering course. |
