After the induction into the army, one has to get trained for the life style of teh army.

The base camps are organized in which the trainees get trained in various fields.

The total time required for the soldier from the induction in the army is around 1 year if you cross each level of training in the very 1st attempts, otherwise it may get extended.

To become Soldier in Indian Army, candidate has to go under training period.

In NDA, the training may last for 3 years. For getting enrolled in NDA, you will have to crack NDA Exam conducted by UPSC every year.

In IMA, the training goes for 1 year. IMA stands for Indian Military Academy located in Dehradun.

In OTA i.e. Officers Training Academy, training completes in 10 months only. OTA is established in Chennai and Gaya.
