If you're belong from General category, then I am really sorry to say that you're ineligible to apply for NET Entrance Examination. Because, Minimum 55% Percentage of marks is required to apply for NET Entrance Examination.

You're eligible for NET Entrance Examination, Only If you're belong from SC/ST category candidates.

NET Stands for (National Eligibility Test) and this Entrance Examination is Conducted University Grands Commission for every years .The Important Notification for this Entrance Examination released in Employment news paper and Official website of UGC NET. This UGC NET Conducts Entrance Examination for Lectureship and Junior Fellowship Program .

Educational Qualification will be same for both the Lectureship and Junior Fellowship Program. But, age limit will be differ for the two posts.

For UGC NET Entrance ,regarding educational qualification should have minimum 55% Percentage of marks in Master degree course n any discipline from recognized university .

Final year candidate of Master degree course may also eligible to apply for this Entrance Examination .

There is no Specific age limit for Lectureship. But, to appear in Junior Fellowship Program then you're age should not be more then 28 years and relaxation will be applicable for sc/st candidates and obc candidates .

So, If you satisfy above criteria then you're eligible to apply for NET Entrance Examination .

Conclusion:- If you're belong from reserved category candidate then you're eligible for NET Entrance Examination. Otherwise you're eligible fro NET Entrance Examination.
