MPSC refers to Maharashtra Public Service Commission and same examination is held for recruitment of administrative officers within the state of Maharashtra. As far as you are concerned about the age limit for appearing in MPSC then it is 19 years to 33 years for general category candidates. Further there is provision of age relaxation for reserved category candidates as per the government norms. So being 17 years old you are not eligible for appearing in MPSC examination. MPSC stands for Maharastra Public service commission Eligibility for MPSC : 1. You must complete degree in any stream from a recognized university. 2. The age limit for applying for IAS is 19- 33 years. Age relaxations: 1. The upper age relaxation provided for OBC is 3 years. 2. The upper age relaxation provided for SC/ST is 5 years. |

The eligibility to appear in examination is that Candidate must have passed bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognised university. Candidate's age must be 19-33 years and relaxation in upper limit for reserved category. So, you cannot appear in examination as per your qualification. The required minimum age limit to appear in examination is 19 years and maximum age limit is 33 years. Educational qualification - Bachelor degree in any discipline. So, you have to complete bachelor degree course to appear in examination. The examination is conducted in three stages and you have to qualify in all stages of examination for final selection.
