Qualification for Hotel Management course are : Under Graduate: To enroll for Bachelor's degree course all you need to have is passed in 10+2 in any stream from recognized board and also should have studied English as one of the subject in 10+2 level. Post Graduate : To enroll for Master degree course or Diploma course in Hotel Management its important for all the candidate to sit for entrance exam like : CAT/MAT/ATMA examination. Duration of the course : For Bachelor degree course the duration is for 3 years where as for Master/Diploma degree course the duration is for 2 years. Age limit required- 22 years for general and OBC candidates whereas 25 years for SC/ST. Aggregate marks should be 50 percent. The required eligibility to get admission in hotel management course is that candidate must have passed 12th from a recognised board with English as main paper. Candidates have to appear and qualify in entrance test such as NHMCT for admission in course. The fee structure is different for different institutes so, it is not possible to give you detail for every institutes. |

To get admission in Diploma in Hotel Management course ( 3 year ) you have to appear and qualify in entrance test. The required minimum qualification to appear in examination is that candidate must have passed 12th or equivalent from a recognised board or institute. The fee structure varies with colleges. Some of the colleges offering the course is :- HIHM, Delhi. APIHM, Ahemdabad. Chef College of Hotel Management, Hyderabad. Hotel management has different type of courses like bachelors degree or MBA or Diploma or certification courses. Based on the course type the requirements varies. From all the courses Bachelors degree has highest scope and chances of getting job and salary will be high for the BHM (Bachelor of Hotel Management) candidates. The eligibility required for studying hotel management is 10+2 or its equivalent education in any related stream from any recognised board. The duration of the course is 4 years. The admissions are given through entrance exam named NCHMCT - JEE (National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology - Joint Entrance Examination). You need to attend and qualify in the exam. So that you can get admission in top universities. The fee structure varies based on the university. It will cost around 2 Lakhs - 10 Lakhs.
