Re: What is the minimum eligibility criteria followed for Agricultural Engineering? No, it is not compulsory. The academic qualification required to apply for Agriculture Engineering is that candidate must have studied science stream in 12th with either PCM subject group or PCB group. It means that candidate from both groups are eligible. You can apply for All Indian Entrance Examination for Admission in Agriculture engineering. AIEEA is conducted by Indian Council of Agriculture Research. You should have at least 50% marks in board examination to apply for Agriculture engineering. |

Re: What is the minimum eligibility criteria followed for Agricultural Engineering? As far as you are concerned about the minimum eligibility for pursuing Agricultural Engineering then it is a higher secondary school degree with Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics as main subjects with at least 50% marks from a recognized board of education. So it is evident from the above fact that there is no compulsion of Biology as a main subject for pursuing Agricultural engineering. Further for pursuing Agricultural engineering from good colleges you need to qualify entrance examinations like AIEEA UG held by ICAR or State CETs held by concerned board of education. |

What is the minimum eligibility criteria followed for Agricultural Engineering? I wanted to know that, is Biology subject compulsory with Physics Chemistry and Maths, for taking admission for Agriculture Engineering Course? I have noticed that few institutes say, it is important and some say it is not required. Please provide information on the same. Thank you. |
