Age Relaxation available 3 years for OBC, 5 years to SC/ST. - Maximum Attempt : 6 for General, 9 for OBC and No limits for SC/ST. Steps to Apply for IPS - Visit the website : www.upsconline.nic.in - Click on link "Online Application". - Complete registration process by filling the details such as Qualification, Age, Address, Nationality, Merital Status, Email ID, Mobile Number etc. - You will get unique Registration Number and Password. - Login and Fill the required details in application. - Upload scanned documents in specified size and format. - Make a payment of application fee. - Take a print out of your application. Candidate of age limit 21 years to 32 years can apply for the UPSC exam for general category.General quota candidates are given 6 attempts to pass exam. If you are giving your first attempt you need to register yourself at www.upsconline.nic.in ** You can read guidelines in official web page regarding upload of documents in prescribe format. ** For preparation you need to practice past year papers which is available at book store. ** Devote time in reading news paper, article, current affairs , History and Geography of the country. |

Re: How to fill IPS Exam forms? IPS (Indian Police Services) comes under the purview of Civil Services Examination (CSE) conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission). To apply for CSE : 1) Login to www.upsc.gov.in 2) Go into the Recruitment tab where you will find Online Recruitment Forms. 3) Click on Apply Section of Civil Services Examination 4) There will two forms one will take basic details from you like Name, Father Name, Address etc second will ask for examination centre and fee payment. 5) After successful completion of form click on final submit. |
