Re: What is the eligibility for NEET 2018 (GENERAL CASTE)? NEET stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. It is a National level entrance examination conducted by CBSE for offering admissions in MBBS/ BDS courses in Government and Private colleges throughout India except in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Jammu and Kashmir. Candidates who have passed 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects with minimum aggregate of 50% marks with English as one of the subject from a recognised board are eligible to apply for NEET 2018 examination. The upper age limit to apply for NEET 2018 examination is 25 years as on 31st December, 2018. Upper age relaxation is applicable to reserved category candidates as per government rules to apply for NEET 2018 examination. |

Re: What is the eligibility for NEET 2018 (GENERAL CASTE)? --> The minimum eligibility criteria required for general category candidates for appearing in NEET ( National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test ) 2018 ( as per the eligibility criteria for NEET 2017 as notification for NEET 2018 has not been released yet ) are as here under :- * You must hold the citizenship of India. * Your age must not be under 17 years by the 31st December 2018. There is no upper age limit from NEET 2017 which was 25 years earlier. * You must have completed your Class 12th with PCB group with at least 50% marks from a recognized board of education. So having secured 50.33% marks in PCB group and 72% and 90% marks in English and Physical education paper respectively you are certainly eligible for appearing in NEET 2018 if you satisfy the age criteria too as your overall aggregate in Class 12th is more than 50% marks which is required by the general category candidates. The eligibility for appearing in examination is that you must have passed 12th with minimum 50%. Candidate must have passed with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main paper. To be eligible to apply for NEET 2018 examination, you should have passed 12th standard or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects with minimum aggregate of 50% aggregate marks from a Government recognised board. The examination is conducted for admission in medical courses ( MBBS and BDS ). The eligibility to appear in examination is that :- Candidate must have passed 12th from a recognised board. Candidate must have passed 12th with PCB as main paper and have scored minimum 50% in 12th. The minimum age limit is 17 years and maximum attempt is 3 times. NEET refer to National Eligibility cum Entrance Test and same is a national level medical entrance examination which is held by CBSE once every year for offering admission in undergraduate medical degree course in various medical colleges of India. --> The minimum eligibility criteria required for appearing in NEET 2018 for general category candidates are as here under :- i) You must be an Indian candidate. ii) You must have completed your Class 12th with Science stream with PCB group with at least 50% marks from a recognized board of education. iii) Your age must not lie under 17 years by the 31st December 2018. There is no maximum age limit as per the Supreme Court order passed last year. So as per the marks mentioned above you are certainly eligible for appearing in NEET 2018 as per your educational qualification. Eligibility criteria required for NEET are as under:- Candidates must have cleared 10+2 or equivalent examination from any recognized board. Appearing candidates are also eligible to apply. Age limit should be 17 years to 25 years fir general candidates and 30 years for SC/ST/OBC candidates. Candidates must have PCB and Biotechnology as well as English as compulsory subjects. Candidates must have obtained at least 50% marks for general, 45% for PH, 40% for SC/ST/OBC category. Aadhaar Card is mandatory to apply for NEET for all Indian citizens. |

What is the eligibility for NEET 2018 (GENERAL CASTE)? I got aggregate 50.33% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. And, 72% in English and 90% in Physical Education. Am I eligible to give NEET in 2018. |
