So, you can appear in examination and after qualifying in entrance examination will become eligible for recruitment. The age limit is different for different state. Degree in Pharmacy or medicine in clinical pharmacology or microbiologist or equivalent from a recognized board. 2. Candidate should be an Indian. 3. Age limit : 18 to 30 years. 4. Relaxation is available for reserved category. Exam Pattern; There are two papers in this exam. Having objective type questions. General studies and mental ability. |

To be a drug inspector, candidate must hold a degree in pharmacy of pharmacutical Sciences on medicine with specialisation in clinical Pharmacology or microbiology from University established in India by law. Age limit should be in between 21 to 32 years. So, you have to follow the above eligibility criteria. |

The required qualification to appear for examination is that:- Candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognized university. The discipline must be Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology etc. So, you can prepare for entrance examination as per syllabus. You can get syllabus at official website of respective state PSC. |

Exam Pattern : - Paper will be of 250 marks. 200 marks for Pharmacy paper and 50 marks for General Knowledge. - Duration of the examination will be of 3 hours. 2 hours for Paper - I and 1 hour for Paper II - After clearing written examination you will be called for interview. Syllabus (as per UPSC) : For Paper I - Medical Chemistry; Forensic Pharmacy; Pharmacognesy; Manufacturing Opharmacy; Pharmaceutical Analysis; Pharmacilogy & Toxicology etc For Paper II - Basic knowledge of current events, History, Political Science, Geography, Economics etc |
