Re: Which is better course after 12th(Commerce), BBA or B.Com.? I am a girl studing in 12th std (commerce) from a cbse college. I have no idea what to do after 12th. I have not taken maths I took mass media instead. My accounts is average and I don't want to go into accounts career wise. I love to study business studies and economics. And decided to do B.A. and M.A. in economics from a good college in Mumbai (I will manage to get into a good college ;) ) and then a MBA from abroad (most probably USA). I wish to get a well paid job in the US. Do you think that economics and MBA degrees can help me achieve my dreams. Am I planning the best according to the situation or it could get better? If yes please HELP I am very tensed about my future! |

But for you it will be a best choice if you take B. com as you have already taken commerce in +2.You can do BCA after this.you go for B.Com,if your future choice is MBA then u go for BBA. But for you it will be a best choice if you take B. com as you have already taken commerce in +2.You can do CA after this. Better you go for B.Com, but doing BBA is not a bad idea too. But you are a commerce student. So, for you B.Com will be the demanded course after 12th in commerce. Because it related to accounting, financing, marketing. For entering in a B.Com course , you have to apply for the good college, who offers this course. BEST OF LUCK....................... |

Re: Which is better course after 12th(Commerce), BBA or B.Com.? well it is always better to go for a stream which is either technical or management,b.com is a simple study and you can get job but it is easy to get a job after completing mba(after bba) mba is the most hot subject in the market,although you can do mba after completing b.com but it will be good if you go for management from the very first day. |

Re: Which is better course after 12th(Commerce), BBA or B.Com.? hello friend BBA dear BBA is a three years degree in business administration ,this course is meant to inculcate entrepreneurship skills in you. you will get knowledge about management, information systems, fundamentals of human resource management, financial law, you can do MBA after your BBA ,you will get job at entry level in BBA but you have to do MBA to get more recognised and to get good salaries. jobs in BBA banking, consultancy, finance, IT companies, ADVERTISING AGENCIES. B.COM where as B.COM is a fundamental stream of study ,you will be trained in accountancy, business administration, finance, economics and industrial policies, B.COM is considered as the basic qualification if you want to get join in the CA, ICWA, CS. some of the jobs afetr your B.COM like banks, consultancy, tax practitioner, junior accountant. if you are good at numbers than you have to choose your career in CA .it is extremely specialized area and B.COM is a good choice. you have to cross three stages to complete this course stage1:-CPT (common proficiency test) stage2:-IPCC(integrated professional competence course) stage3:-articleship and final course mainly you have to cross the CPT exam, this entry level exam is much more important to you , for professionals career career in BBA is a good option. I will discuss what is the difference between this two courses. B.COM(Bachelor of Commerse) If you are interseted in your commerse subject and to go in teaching profession or research or want to persui higher studies such as M.Com, PHD, etc etc. Then only you should go for B.Com............. BBA(Bachelor of Business Administration) If you are interested in early jobs and handsome package jobs, then you should go for BBA. After completing BBA, you should go for MBA from good colleges. Re: Which is better course after 12th(Commerce), BBA or B.Com.? hi hey friend........ after 12th you can opt for any of the following courses that are B.com, BBA, CA or CS..... but first of all what you should do is set your objective what you really want to do......because each of these courses requires diferent levels of hardwork , time period for completion and finally inshaping your carrer for a rewardin job. B.com is three year course and it requires the least of hardwork alongwiht which you can also do some professional 1year courses. BBA is somewhat similar to that..but its not so much of value alone after doing this you are just similar to a graduate student and for further development you would have to do a MBA or any other postgraduation course..... instead of BBA you can do the BBE course of DU or the BBS course of shaheed sukhdev singh college(Vivek vihar..DELHI) as far as CA or CS is concerned the CA course is of 4years 6months course and it requires harwork and commitment towards it...the theoritical studies have to go along with compulsory articleship of 3.5years with a practising CA. on the other hand CS is 3.5years course and it is little less tough than CA but the course content is too much here. and also the job prospects are also less attractive than that of CA.... but friend every course has its own pros and cons you just have to select the best one for you which suits your needs.... for any further queries you can ask me again....... I think you should go for B.com because that will help you when you will do your MBA...B.com gives you the basic/fundamental knowledge in accounting and mathematics (Statistics,probability etc)..The BCA is a computer application program which will give you the knowledge on computer languages which are helpful but when you are doing the master in computer application. B.com is not design in a way that student get any good job after completing it unless the candidate is very intelligent. BBA is a career/job oriented course. It help student to get the job in good organization as management trainee. But if you want to grow in your career to a higher position than doing MBA after completing the BBA is very good option. In BBA students learn functional area of management. Most of Reputed Institution/universities offering these course take Entrance Examination for admitting candidates into their courses. But As Per My Opinion, You Should go for B.com because it is more valuable and a very Perfect Degree for Graduation. So, Its better If You Go for B.com because it will be easy for You and After B.com You Can Go For Masters degree like MBA. So, if you intend to go for any accounting qualification like CA, then Bcom is better, Because You dont have to study Management Subjects in depth. So, If you do B.Com, then You have Option to do MBA after Graduation and also some Other Options as Well, Like ICMA, CA And No doubt This is much Stronger Degrees in the Field of Accountancy than MBA. So, Its Totally Your Decesion, Just go for Your Personal Interest, Both The Courses are Good. |
