Re: Difficulties to become an IPS Officer for 12th Science student? As long as student think that IPS is tough or difficult, they can not become IPS Officers. They have to think that their dream is to become IPS Officers and they are ready to do anything for that. There are no difficulties if you study with proper plan. The normal trend is IPS is only for Commerce students but not for Science students. But there are so many IPS officers who came from Science background. So, you start preparation from Graduation only. If you know any IPS officers or who are selected, get tips from them. |

No,there is no such course through which it is easy to qualify in the civil services examination without the preparation and hard work. So if you have interest in the science stream you can even make the discipline paper as one of the science paper. The examination is not easy so even if you go with the different course you need to do hard as well as smart work to qualify in the examination. Its good that you have taken an early decision and finalized what actually you want to achieve in coming future. For becoming IPS officer, you will have to crack the Civil Services exam. Civil Services exam is conducted by the UPSC every year. Competition is tough and you must be hard working with strong will power to crack this exam. There will be no difficulty for the science stream candidate to crack this exam. Any graduate can apply for this exam. You must complete your NCERT books of science and Social science from class 6th to 10+2. |

There is no difficulty for science stream candidates to become Indian Police Services officer, all you need to do is to clear the various stages of Civil Services exam which is Preliminary Exam, mains exam and personal interview. It is considered to be one of the most toughest exam of India for bachelor's degree candidate but a candidate with strong determination, hard work, dedication and will power can easily crack the exam. Nothing is impossible in this world, all you need to have is strong determination towards your goal. |
