Minimum qualification needed for becoming an Engine Driver is one should have completed 10th class along with the ITI course in any trade. As you have done mechanical engineering also you are eligible for applying for loco pilot post. You need to apply for this loco pilot position when ever RBI issues notification and clear it in merit and also make sure that you have the age in between 18 to 30 years, however reservation candidates will get age relaxation. These days exam's were conducted in online mode so try to give more number of online practice tests. For more details visit the RRB official website. |

Re: What are the requirements for the post of Railway Engine Driver? How to apply for it? Yes, you are eligible to appear for Loco Pilot entrance examination conducted by RRB. The minimum eligibility to appear for examination is that candidate must have passed diploma or ITI degree from a recognised institute. - The age limit is 18-30 years with relaxation in upper age limit for reserved ctegory. So, you can appear for entrance examination and after qualifying in the written, interview, and physical test you are eligible for recruitment. Mechanical Engineering, so you can apply for Railway driver (loco pilot) post of Indian Railways. Your age must be within range of 18 to 30 years. And selection for Loco pilot job will be based on Written exam followed by Personal Interview. To apply for this post, you will have to regularly check RRB sites and be updated about RRB Locopilot vacancies. |
