Re: Nowadays Special Class Railway Apprentice (SCRA) exams are being conducted or not? Special Class Railway Apprentice examination has been scrapped by Union Public Service Commission from year 2016. It is no more conducted by UPSC. It is 100% true. |

UPSC conducted the entrance examination for recruitment as Class I officer in Indian Railway. Now, UPSC had postponed the examination and did not conduct the examination as SCRA. |

Re: Nowadays Special Class Railway Apprentice (SCRA) exams are being conducted or not? Now, no SCRA ( Special Class Railway Apprentice ) examination is conducted. Earlier, the examination was conducted for recruitment in Indian Railway as an officer in India. So, you are not eligible to appear for examination now. |

SCRA refers to Special Class Railway Apprentice and SCRA examinations are held by UPSC once every year till 2015 for selection of candidates for their recruitment as railway engineer by providing them necessary education. As far as you are concerned about SCRA examination being conducted at present then as mentioned above SCRA examination it is not conducted now and last time it was held on 18th January 2015. |

Nowadays Special Class Railway Apprentice (SCRA) exams are being conducted or not? I heard that now Special Class Railway Apprentice (SCRA) is being not conducted. Is it true? Or, is it a myth? Please, update on this. |
