B.Sc B.Ed can choose option> Graduate in Philosophy /Graduate in psychology or/ Graduate with physics/Chem./Math. as one of subjects? i wish i could choose Graduate in philosophy is it right?

Information Regarding IAS Examination.

IAS officer job is consider as the one of the best job of India. This examination is also known as the civil services examination which is conducted by UPSC in every year for the selection of the talented candidates of India as the post of IAS officer. To appear in the IAS examination you need the following eligibility criteria.

Educational Qualification = Graduation in any stream from a recognize University. The final year graduation student also eligible to apply for the IAS examination.

Age Limit = The age must be between 21 to 30 years at the time of appearing of this examination. The age relaxation is also applicable for the candidates belong to reservation category.

As per your question if you are a B.Ed student then you have already completed the graduation degree so according to eligibility criteria you are eligible to apply for the IAS examination.

yes,you are definitely eligible for appearing for the Civil Service Exams

according to the UPSC guidelines..the following students are eligible for appearing in the Civil Service Exams :-

1) you should be a graduate from any recognized college of India from any stream..
2) you should be within the age limit of 21-30 years for general,less than 33 years for OBC and less than 35 years for SC/ST..

you have a maximum of 4 attempts..

there are 2 rounds for the exam..
1)Prelims :- It is based on the current affairs,general knowledge and aptitude..
2)Mains :- it is meant to test your knowledge of your graduation subjects..

if you clear both rounds then you will be called for interview and final selection..

there are some criteria to give this exam.
*The candidates should be a graduate in any discipline , from a recognize university.
*the age limit is 20 30 yrs there is some relaxation for sc/st
&obc candidates.

Yes, you can appear in IAS exam after completion of B.ed degree..

Eligibility criteria for IAS exam:-

*The candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade..
*The candidate should not have any due backlogs during graduation.

Age eligibility:-

*The age should be in between 21-30 years..
For SC/ST the upper age relaxation is 5 years , and for OBC the upper age relaxation is 3 years.

If you fulfill all these criteria then you are eligible for IAS exam..

IAS is Indian Administrative Service

Yeah you can apply for the IAS exam after doing B.ed which is Bachelor of Education which is a UG degree.

Details about IAS:

IAS is one of the Indian Civil Service and this exam is conducted by UPSC every year for the post of IAS officer.

To become a IAS officer you need to write the IAS exam and for applying for the IAS exam you need to satisfy the eligibility criteria for the IAS exam.

Eligibility for IAS exam:

> Candidate should have a citizenship in India.

> Candidate should have a age limit of 21-30 years for General category.

> Candidate should have a age limit of 21-35 years for SC/ST category.

> Candidate should have a age limit of 21-33 years for OBC category.

> Candidate who are Ex-service men will get 5 years exception from the prescribed limits.

> Candidate should have done his/her graduation from a recognized university with a fair percentage.

> Candidate who are writing their final degree exam can also apply for the IAS exam.

The candidates who satisfy all the above criteria's,they are eligible to apply for the IAS Exam.

As you have finished your graduation you need to satisfy the age limits so that you can apply for the IAS Exam.

Eligibility Criteria For IAS


(i) Age limits :


21-30 years as on 1.7.2011. (Upper age limit relaxable for SCs/STs, OBCs and certain other categories as specified in Para 3(ii) of Notice).


(ii) Educational Qualifications :


Bachelor’s degree of a recognised university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physcs, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Enginerring or an equivalent qualification (Para 3(iii) of Notice).

Yes,definitely you can appear in IAS exam as you have already completed the graduation then B.Ed.

IAS (Indian Administrative Services) is basically for those who are firmly determined for dedication of themselves towards the own country.

If you are so interested for IAS,after being Engineers, Doctors, or Ph.d you can sit IAS exam conducted by UPSC.

Application forms will come out in the month of January.

According to the new exam pattern of the IAS exam
1) General-Studies paper which carries 150 marks

2) Optional paper which carries 150 marks.

Eligibility Criteria :-

1.Educational Qualification:To appear in IAS exam you should have a Graduation degree in any stream from a recognize University. If you are in final year you can also eligible to apply for the examination.

hey Tripti.........you are a b.ed degree holder that means you have completed your graduation . so you can apply for IAS examination. you can appear for civil service examination conducted by UPSC.

u can apply for IAS exam because u r already completed graduate than B.ED
every year upsc conduct a civil service exam.
eligibiality for IAS is graduate any stream with reconized univercity.
this year upsc taking a exam on CSAt pattern.
so in 2012 u can apply for IAS.
