Re: BCA comes under which stream? Hi BCA comes under Computer applications and IT. Eligibility criteria for taking admission in most of the top universities is Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English). It may vary with the university you choose. I can enlist some university for your help - Lovely Professional University, Manav Rachna University, Sharda University etc. which offers excellent learning atmosphere to its students. Few of these universities provides extensive learning programs and exposure to the students. They also provide worthy scholarships to its students depending upon the entrance test taken of the university or board result. I hope it helps. |

The duration of Bachelor of Computer Applications course is three years. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA 1. Candidate must have passed 12th class in any stream with English from a recognized board. 2. For Bachelor of Computer Applications course candidate must have score at least 50% in your 12th class. 3. Basically it is a computer-software oriented course in which you will study about different computer programs, applications, Soft-wares and programming languages. This is a bright stream for the modern world as there is huge job opportunities if you develop right skills of BCA. You can go for the course, don't get confused. |

Eligibility criteria to pursue BCA: - A candidate must have completed 12th standard with minimum 50% marks having mathematics as compulsory subject. - Minimum age required to get admission in this course is 17 years. So, you are eligible to get admission in this course if you have completed your 12th standard either with Commerce, Arts or non medical stream if you had Mathematics. |

After BCA you can work as Developer in languages like JAVA, C/C++, PHP etc. You can also work as desktop administrator.* After BCA you can also apply for various government exams like Civil Services, Bank, CAPF etc. |
