Re: Is B.Sc with PCM holder is eligible for lateral entry in B.Tech Mechanical? Yes, you can apply for LEET(Lateral Entry Entrance Test) for B.Tech. Through LEET exam you will get direct admission in the second year or 3rd semester of B.Tech course. For lateral entry scheme you must have minimum 50% marks to get admission in B.Tech 2nd year. The fee structure of B.Tech varies from college to college. It depends upon the college you will take admission. |

Re: Is B.Sc with PCM holder is eligible for lateral entry in B.Tech Mechanical? The eligibility criteria for the Lateral Entry Entrance Test is: 1. Candidates must have done diploma in any stream from a recognized technical institute. 2. Candidate must have scored at least 60% marks in diploma. But bachelor of science candidates are not eligible for the LEET exam. If you passed your 10+2 board exams with physics, chemistry and Mathematics then you can directly apply for admission in bachelor of technology based on PCM percentage. |

Those candidates who have completed B.Sc degree with above 50% marks from a recognized university are eligible for lateral entry exam. Your age should be above 16 years. |
