Re: What is the best way to join IAS/PCS after 12th?

You can not join IAS after 12th but you can start preparation for this after 12th. The minimum educational qualification for IAS exam is Graduation.

IAS - INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE, to become an IAS officer you have to appear and crack Civil Service exam conducted by UPSC every year.

The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream of education from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years which the upper age relaxed up to 5 years for C/ST/PH candidate and up to 3 years for OBC candidate.

The selection is through three phases:-

CSAT-Civil Service Aptitude Test-Preliminary Exam

Civil Service Main Exam

Personal Interview

It is very good that you are interested for IAS during your 12th studies, hence after 12th during pursing your Graduation Degree you should prepare for Civil Service exam along with your regular studies.

Re: What is the best way to join IAS/PCS after 12th?

IAS is actually not a course. It can be expanded as Indian Administrative Service. It can be called as a post to be awarded after you clear your entrance exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission.

To appear in that exam your age must be above 21years and below 30years.
You must have completed your graduation of any discipline.

So, if you have finished your 12th std join a graduation course in a recognized university. I can suggest you to join in a graduation which you can easily study and pass so that by the time of graduation you can also prepare for your exam to become an IAS officer.
