Re: Job after B.Tech with 66% upto 3rd year? Most of the company/government sector gives the eligibility to aggregate 60% to apply for there various post. A B.Tech candidate can make there career in the various departments but you didn’t tell us that in B.Tech what stream you have if you provide the stream then it will be very good to explain better for you. |

Re: Job after B.Tech with 66% upto 3rd year? You should have mentioned your stream or branch my dear. There are so many branches in BE with different scopes and jobs available in different industrial segements. If you are from ECE you can geta job in telecom, automation, embedded and software field. Also for degree in either ECE, Electrical and Mechanical engineering, you can get a job in various Manufacturing units and process plants like cement plants, steel plants, Tyre plants, etc. in instrumentation, maintainance, and production departments as a Trainee engineer or a Graduate trainee engineer. Also there are jobs available in Public sector undetakings like BHEL, BSNL, NTPC, SAIL,GAIL,ONGC, BPCL, Power grid etc for trainee engineers. If you are from computers or IT then you can get job in various Software and IT companies based on your programming skills . You have 66% as a aggregate . Your final semester would be mostly practicals and projects. So you will get good marks there i suppose. So your aggregate will go up. A aggregate above 70% will be good for you as most biggies MNC'S set a criterion of 70% in BE so as to sit in the entrance test in campus. |

IES,DRDO,ISRO,state government jobs. you will have to appear for competitive exams for selection like IES. 2. Private sector :: Tata motors, Maruti,power companies,catterpillar,Tata steel,Suzlon etc. to get private sector jobs you can sit in campus interview or you can send you application and resume to the companies. one more option you have is to go for IT-JOBS, you can apply for infy,TCS,wipro etc. so all the best........ |

Re: Job after B.Tech with 66% upto 3rd year? No , one is going to provide you job at this stage, better concentrate on your studies. You can apply for Internship after completing your 3rd year. Regarding internship, contact your placement office rather than trying as individual, you will end up getting nothing. Keep maintaining your this percentage, as most of the PSUs have 60% minimum eligibility criteria. |
