Yes, definitely you are eligible for the UPSC and government exam in the final year or later. The B.tech candidate are eligible for UPSC, CSAT exam and Engineering Service exam. You can apply for this exam in the final year of B.Tech. The minimum eligibility criteria for appear in the UPSC exam is graduation degree from a recognize University and the age must be between 21 to 30 years at the time of appear in the exam. So don't worry you are eligible for UPSC exam and for government exam. Exam. Eligibility for upsc exam.- *candidate should be graduate from affiliated university with min. Aggregate 60% in any stream. *age limit-21-30yr. (age relaxation for reserved category). To apply for UGC examination and any other recruitment examination, you need to passed from UGC Recognised colleges. And to apply for UPSC examination, you need graduate degree from a recognised University. And your age should between 21 to 30 years. The B.tech Candidates are eligible to apply for UPSC CSAT Examination and as well as for Engineering Services examination. So, please dont worry, You are eligible to apply for UPSC Examination as well as for other government examination. You are also eligble to apply for Various government bank examination, After completing your B.tech Course. So, please dont worry, Just concentrate in your course, you are eligible to apply for UPSC Examination and any other government examination, if your college is recognised form UGC. |

Re: Can a student pursuing B.Tech from UGC University appear for all UPSC and Govt. exams? yes you can appear in all type of upsc and govt exam. if upsc and govt criteria fullfill your degree. degree means your department. in some upsc exam only m-tech student are applicable. in some upsc exam only b-tech(mechanical,eletrical,electronics) are applicable but b-tech (cse) are not applicable. so best of luck dear |
