Re: Eligibility to study BSc(Forestry) for 12th PCM student? B.Sc Forestry is an undergraduate course. You are eligible to appear for entrance examination to get admission in the course. The required minimum qualification to appear for examination is that candidate must have passed 12th from a recognised board. Candidate must have scored minimum 50% in board examination. So you are eligible for admission in the course after completion of 12th in Science ( PCM ). |

Re: Eligibility to study BSc(Forestry) for 12th PCM student? Yes, you are eligible to pursue B.Sc Forestry course. The required eligibility to get admission in the course is that : Candidate must have passed 12th from a recognised board. There is no limitation on stream in 12th. It is a four year undergraduate course. There are many institutes in Dehradun and Lucknow. Candidates have to qualify for entrance examination conducted by various institutes for admission in the course. |

The duration of the course is 4 years which is divided into 8 semesters. The basic eligibility required to study B.Sc Forestry is a 10+2 or its equivalent education in any related stream from any recognized board. The admission process varies based on the state & university. There are many colleges offering this course. Eligibility criteria to study B.Sc (Forestry) are:- Students must have passed 12th board examination with Science stream (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) from a recognized board. Students must have passed 12th with at least 50% marks. |

As you are studying 12th standard with PCM stream, you are definitely eligible to join in B.SC in forestry course after the completion of your 12th standard. And only few colleges offering this course and you have to clear the entrance examination conducted by the respective colleges to join in this course. And B.SC in forestry is a 3 yeras duration course and if you complete this course you will have better opportunities to get job in government sector as only few candidates will choose this course. And there is age limit to join this course in regular mode and it is 18-23 years. |

Eligibility to study BSc(Forestry) for 12th PCM student? Respected Sir, I am studying in 12th standard with PCM stream. My aim is to do BSc in Forestry course. So, with PCM stream I am eligible to study BSc in Forestry or not? Please tell me immediately. |
