First of all let me tell you that 10 standard is not the Eligible qualification to become an ACP. Candidate must have minimum qualification of graduation in any discipline from a recognised University.
After completing your graduation, you have to appear in the civil services examination to join the police department as an ACP.

To become Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) you need to meet few eligibility requirements which are given below:

- The candidate should be a citizen of India.
- The candidate should have completed graduation/ bachelors level degree in any stream from any recognised university.
- The minimum age limit is 21 years & maximum age limit is 32 years.
- There is 3 years age relaxation for OBC candidates & 5 years relaxation for SC/ ST candidates.

So, after completing your 10th class education, you need to study 12th class in any stream and go for bachelors level degree in any stream from any recognised university.

After completing graduation you need to apply for the civil service exam conducted by UPSC.

You need to clear 3 rounds they are
CSAT (Civil Service Aptitude Test)
Mains
Personal interview

If you clear all the rounds in merit then you can become ACP.

The acronym ACP stands for Assistant Commissioner of Police.

Indian Police Service Officers after certain years of experience become ACP.

First step towards IPS should be to apply for Civil Services exam.

Eligibility criteria:

Academic qualification: Bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized university.

Age criteria: 21-32 years.

The different stages of this exam:

Preliminary examination.

Mains examination.

Interview.

Steps to become an ACP for 10th students are:-
First complete your higher secondary education.
Then you have to complete your graduation in any discipline.
After completing your graduation, you have to appear for UPSC examination.
In UPSC examination you have to need mention IPS to become an ACP.
Then write for UPSC examination and qualify it.
And then the personnel interview has been taken to check your mental ability.
If you will qualify all the levels of examination, you will be appointed as ACP of any region.

ACP stands for Assistant Commissioner of Police. It is a high level post in Indian Police system. First of all, you need to join Indian Police Services as additional SP then after certain years of experience you will SP and so on to ACP.

Candidates are selected on basis of performance in Civil Services examination. Civil Services examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission. The minimum academic qualification required is bachelor's degree. You just do 12th then bachelor's degree to become eligible for this exam. Minimum age limit required for exam is 21 years.

You have to write UPSC entrance test to become an ACP.
You have to apply for the post of IPS and after promotion you will get the post of ACP.

Eligibility criteria are mentioned below:-
Candidate must have passed graduation from a recognized university in any stream.
Candidate must have scored a minimum of 50% in graduation.
Candidate must be a citizen of India.
Candidate must be physically and mentally fit.
Candidate age must be under 21 years to 30 years.
Age relaxation-
OBC- 3 years
SC/ST- 5 years
PWD- 10 years

Steps to become an ACP for 10th student?

Respected Sir/Madam, I have just completed my 10th and I want to become an ACP of Police. This is my dream to become an ACP. Please tell me how I can achieve my aim? Please tell me about the steps.
