NIOS certificates are valid and recognized,and the certificates are accepted by all the colleges/university for admission. They provide regular as well as distance courses. It has the highest centre numbers across the cities in india. NIOS formally is kmown as NOS (natikonal open school) was established in nov,1989 as an autonomous organization in pursuance of national policy on education 1986 by the ministry of Human resource development,govt, of india.
