Re: Tips for IPS preparation from class 9 itself If you aim to become an I.P.S Officer you must have to give your best to qualify in Civil Service examination conducted by UPSC. You have sufficient time for preparation for examination as per minimum qualification to appear for examination is bachelor degree in any discipline. So, from now you must start reading English newspaper, practice for better writing skills and go through NCERT books from 6th -12th. This will be sufficient for you now. Do not try to read too many books to become an expert in any subject. Just prepare for examination as according to syllabus for syllabus visit at www.upsc.gov.in. |

Make your calculations fast. 4. Make your current affairs upto date by subscribing English newspapers or Hindi newspapers. 5. Re: Tips for IPS preparation from class 9 itself Personally I would like to suggest you that it's very good that you are still in 9th standard and you want to set your goal and want to become IPS officer and these are the tips which you have to follow in order to succeed. Firstly make sure that you must have knowledge of each and every subject from 6 standard of NCERT books because these are the basics book which are fundamental for your basic concepts and moreover you should have fast calculations in order to solve the tricky questions moreover you have to focus just on your NCERT books try to understand each and every line and grass the knowledge in your mind. The next thing which you have to do is to listen the English news in order to increase your knowledge about current affairs because in IPS question paper you will have vast questions about current affairs. Apart from this you can also subscribe some magazines such as success mirror of Pratiyogita Darpan . You should know that in which subject you are more stronger because in your graduation and also while doing your exam you have to opt for single subject in which you are more strengthened. |
