HELLO SIR......... you can join Maarine Engineering for which there are admission available every year through merit or through entranc etest. OR join Merchant Navy after joining 12th. For that you will need PCM subject in you 12th standard.After 12th you will also need to appear for few entrance exams like IGNOU or IIT JEE. After you clear the exams you will be called for pre sea training? You will be able to join Deck Cadet after you completing the pre sea training. BEST OF LICK !!!!!!!!!! |

After passing 12th class with science stream you can join any institute which is providing the training as well as coaching of Merchant Navy. In Merchant Navy most of the youths are attracting so you have good career scope if you have leadership quality then your career path will be very strong. The package for the Merchant Navy is very high. |

After finishing your 12th std if you had taken science group with physics, chemistry and maths you can apply for B.sc nautical science in arts and science group or you can apply for marine engineering in engineering to become any officer. |

It is better to join as a deck cadet as you have a chance to become the captain of a ship. You have to apply for IMUCET and then for sponsorship.you can fill the form for IMU on www.imu.tn.nic.in.for sponsorship companies you keep visiting www.jobships.com. The best institutes are- 1.SIMS,Lonavla 2.Tolani maritime institute 3.ARI,Delhi 4.VMI,Pune 5.T.S Chanakya,Mumbai all the best. |

By pursuing bachelor's degree program in nautical science or marine engineering. You should pursue B.Sc in nautical science if interested in the navigation department and to get into the engineering department, you will need to pursue course in marine engineering. The minimum qualification to pursue these courses are +2 with PCM from a recognized institute. Institutes offering these courses are The Training Ship chanakya, Mumbai Marine Engineering Research institute, Kolkata/Mumbai Directorate General of shipping, Mumbai The Institute of Technology and Marine Engineering, West Bengal 2. Through direct entry as a deck cadet or Engine Cadet/ Fifth Engineer/ Junior Engineer. An undergraduate with PCM in +2 can join merchant navy as Deck Cadet. A graduate in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Technology Engineering can join as Engine cadet/Junior Engineer after going through a pre-sea course conducted by the MERI |

You can join indian navy after 12thclass if you have physics, maths and chemistry combination.so as do join merchant navy.. but you must have scored more than 60% in PCM in 12th board............... There will be 2 year course for Diploma Holders and successful completion you will be join merchant in either of departments

There are two kinds of officers in merchant navy Deck / Navigation Officer: Engineering Officers: To become a merchant navy officer, one needs to be atleast 10+2 or a diploma holder, after which he/she needs to undergo pre-sea training.
