In Tamil Nadu they keep counselling after every time result is out for HSC. It depends on your Cutoff in HSC (Physics+Chemistry+Biology). If you have a good cutoff then there is chance of getting a good college. It also depends on your community as there are reserved seats in each college. Nowadays there is also entrance exam conducted before counselling, so both cut off as well as your entrance mark will be taken into account. If you get good marks then you can get seat in top government institutions like -Madras Medical College -Stanley Medical College -Kilpauk Medical College etc. |
