Re: Procedure to join Indian Navy for 10th UP Board candidate? For recruitment in Indian Navy as an officer, you have to appear and qualify for NDA entrance examination. The eligibility to appear the examination is that :- Candidate must have passed 12th from a recognised board. Candidate must have Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main paper. Candidate's age must be between 16.5-19.5 years. Only male candidates are eligible. You have to appear and qualify in two stages Written and SSB for final selection. So, you have to pursue 12th in PCM to appear for examination. For more information about examination visit at www.upsc.gov.in. |

Re: Procedure to join Indian Navy for 10th UP Board candidate? Sorry, to say that you are not eligible to join Indian Navy being a 10th standard candidate from UP Board. To be eligible to join Indian Navy, you should have passed 12th standard with Physics and Mathematics subjects from a Government recognised board. You should have to appear in NDA examination which is conducted by UPSC. So, being a 10th standard student, you have to pursue 12th standard with Physics and Mathematics subjects to be eligible to appear in NDA examination for joining in Indian Navy. |

To join Indian Navy after passing 10th from UP Board, you will have to opt for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as your primary subjects for 11th and 12th. It doesn't matter whether you complete your 11th and 12th from UP Board or CBSE Board or ICSE Board, you will be eligible for Indian Navy if you studied from PCM subjects. While studying in 12th, you will have to apply for NDA Exam conducted by UPSC every year. To apply for NDA Exam, your age must be between 16.5 to 19 years. For qualifying NDA exam, you will have to crack Written Exam first. After clearing written test, you will have to clear SSB Interview. |
