Re: Courses to study in Graduation to become a CBI Officer for 12th CBSE Commerce candidate? CBI entrance exam is conducted by SSC through CGL EXAM. Minimum qualification required to apply for CBI examination is completing a Bachelor's degree course from a recognized university. SSC CGL exam doesn't require any stream and percentage marks require in graduation degree. Your age should be in between 20 to 27 years. |

Eligibility to appear for examination is:- Candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised University. There is no limitation on stream of bachelor degree. The minimum educational qualification for this exam is graduation or an equivalent bachelor's degree from a recognised University. No restrictions on percentage of marks to apply on this examination. The candidate must have minimum age of 18 years and maximum should not exceed 27 years where is relaxation in upper age limit is provided to reserved students. |

Degree in any discipline from a recognized university of India. You can opt any course of your choice without any issue. Graduates can apply for SSC CGL exam for Sub Inspector level post in CBI and Civil Services exam to join IPS and become top officer in CBI. |

So, you can pursue any course in bachelor degree to appear in examination. Candidates have to appar and qualify in all stages of examination for examination. To get into CBI, you need to clear different stages of Civil Services exam. Civil Services examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission. The academic qualification required for this exam is that candidate must have done bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Minimum age required is 21 years. You can choose any course of your choice in bachelor's degree. As you have done 12th in commerce, B.Com would be more advantageous. |

You can pursue any of the streams in graduation from any of the subject. There is no any restriction. But the important point is that your age should be not less than 21 years to be eligible for CBI Officer. |
