The eligibility to study for biomedical engineering one must pass B.E/B.Tech from a recognized university with at least 55% marks. These are some top colleges offering the course on biomedical engg: Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham ,Coimbatore S.R.M. University, Chennai National Institute of Technology ,Rourkela Amrita School of Engineering (ASE) ,Coimbatore If you are not interested in research works then you can go with bioinformatics which can promise you jobs in application based medical laboratories and in simultaneous job profiles. There are many reputed institutes which offer the course through GATE entrance test. After doing this you can opt for research studies also. So just go for it. Good luck |
