No, you don't need to study Mathematics in 11th and 12th standard for becoming Oncologist.

Oncology course is related to Medical field and so you will have to choose Physics, Chemistry and Biology in 11th and 12th standard to become Oncologist.

For becoming Oncologist (Surgical, Medical or Radiation), you will have to first complete your MBBS Course from a recogznied medical college.
After completing MBBS, you will have to pursue 3 year Oncology course as post graduation course.

No, it is not required to have mathematics in 12th std to become an oncologist.

To become oncologist the required minimum qualification is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree in medical course.

So, candidate must have 12th in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as main paper to appear for examination and to become oncologist in future.

No, Maths is not required for becoming oncologist.

The basic steps to follow for becoming an oncologist are given below:

- Since you have completed 10th class education, you need to study +2 level education in PCB with minimum 50% from any recognized board.
- The minimum percentage may vary based on the university and entrance exams.
- You need to attend entrance exam conducted by different states & universities or you can get direct admission in few universities based on your 12th class performance.
- After clearing the exams you need to join in bachelor's level degree in the courses related to oncology.
- You can become oncologist after a bachelor's degree but if you go for masters in oncology related subject that will help in you in building career and getting more jobs and you can become a specialist in oncology.

So, there is no need of choosing maths in 12th class instead go for PCB subjects and follow the steps and become an oncologist
