Re: Does Mathematics needed for B.Sc in Fashion Designing? Hi, Mathematics is not needed for B.Sc in Fashion Designing. There is no requirement of Maths concept to study Fashion Designing. The minimum requirement or eligible criteria is to complete your 10+2 exam with pass marks and securing at least 50 % marks. There is also no need of any special combination of subjects required in 10+2 to study Fashion Designing. Many reputed colleges conduct Entrance Exam comprising Aptitude test. |

B.Sc ( Bachelor of Science ) in Fashion Designing is an undergraduate degree course of 3 years in fashion designing for which the minimum education required is a higher secondary school degree in any stream from a recognized board. So, having completed your Class 12th in Science stream with PCB group you are still eligible to pursue B.Sc in Fashion designing course. |

Re: Does Mathematics needed for B.Sc in Fashion Designing? It is compulsory to have Mathematics in 12th std if you want to appear in entrance examination for admission in B.F.Tech course. For B.Des course candidate passed 12th in any stream are eligible. So, you can select the course as per your eligibility. NIFT is a premier institute of India for fashion oriented courses. |

Re: Does Mathematics needed for B.Sc in Fashion Designing? No, mathematics is not required if you want to pursue Fashion Designing degree course but yes knowledge of maths is an added advantage. It helps in measuring the fabric you need and related measurements. |

Re: Does Mathematics needed for B.Sc in Fashion Designing? For admission in B.Des course the required eligibility is that :- Candidate must have passed 12th from a recognised board. There is no limitation on discipline of 12th to appear in examination. So, you are eligible to appear for entrance examination to get admission in B.Des course after 12th in PCB. |

The basic eligibility criteria for doing B.Sc in Fashion Designing are qualifying 10+2 or equivalent examination from any stream. You must have at least 50% marks in 12th standard. Some of very reputed college also conduct a aptitude test for admission. |
