As far as I know, to appear for Central teacher eligibility test or CTET for general category students or any other reserved category students as well, there is no upper age restriction. However, minimum age requirement for appearing in CTET is 18 years. |

As far as you are concerned about the maximum age limit for appearing in CTET ( Central Teacher Eligibility Test ) then I would like to let you know that there is no maximum age limit for appearing in CTET. You must meet its academic qualification to apply for exam. Bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized university. You must have done diploma in elementary education for this exam. |

As far as you are concerned about the age limit for appearing in CTET then as per the CTET notification there is no maximum age limit for appearing in the same examination. Re: What is the maximum age limit for CTET for General category? There is no age limit to appear for Central Teacher Eligibility Test. It is conducted twice in a year for selection as teacher in government schools. The minimum eligibility to appear in examination is that candidate must have passed higher secondary course and have diploma in elementary education certificate. So, if you have the required qualification you can appear in examination and after qualifying in it will become eligible for recruitment as teacher. |

Re: What is the maximum age limit for CTET for General category? C TET stands for the Central Teachers Eligibility Test. As such there is no age limit for the C TET exam. However you have to be a graduate from a recognised University to be able to apply for the same, if you wish to apply for the secondary wing . And for the primary, just being a 12th pass with more than 50% aggregate from a recognised board. |

The required minimum educational qualification to appear in examination varies with primary school, TGT and PGT recruitment. There is no age limit to appear in examination. This exam is held by CBSE twice every year for recruitment of teachers in various centrally funded CBSE schools like JNVs, KVs, etc. The minimum educational qualification is Candidate must have passed Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
