Re: Distance degree holder can apply for IBPS IT Officer 2017 exam Yes, you are eligible to appear for IBPS Specialist Officer examination. The examination is conducted by IBPS for recruitment of candidates in different nationalized banks of India. As, per eligibility candidates passed M.Sc IT from any recognised university and age between 20-30 years can appear for examination. There is also relaxation in upper age limit for candidates of reserved category. So, you can appear for examination. The examination is conducted in three stages and for more information about examination visit at www.ibps.in. |

A bachelor degree from a recognized university either in regular or distance in the following stream: Electronics and Communication Engineering Computer Science/ Computer application Information Technology Electronics and Instrumentation Age limit is 20 to 30 years. Age relaxation is given to reserved category. IBPS conducts this exam in Feb of every year. Notification is given in November of Previous year. Exam pattern: Reasoning consist 50 questions having 50 marks Quantitative Aptitude consist 50 questions having 50 marks General English consist 50 questions having 25 marks. IT knowledge section consist 50 question having 75 marks. Total marks is 200 and 1/4 is negative marking. Therefore start preparation from now to crack this exam. |

So you are eligible to apply for IBPS IT exam as distance learning degree holder from universities recognized by ignou can apply for govt sector exams. |
