Re: Caste correction in 10th CBSE TC If you want to update your caste details in your 10th & 12th certificate, you need to present a affidavit copy with zerox of caste certificate to the CBSE office at New Delhi. Update and issue of new certificate may take 7 working days time. |

Re: Caste correction in 10th CBSE TC if the transfer certificate of student doesn't have her SC caste mentioned in it but she has applied for admission under SC category and also has given her valid caste certificate. Will the admissions be cancelled because caste is not mentioned in transfer certificate even though she has provided her valid caste certificate? |

Re: Caste correction in 10th CBSE TC My grandson is studying in IX standard in a public school in Jammu. For CBSE registration , school is asking for submission of a copy of caste certificate. Due to abrogation of article 370 ,j&k, State has reorganized as Union Territory as such I am not in a position to get his caste certificate till new laws regarding issuance of domicile / caste certificate are put in place by the government. As of now can we mention only caste till proper caste certificate is issued to him which may take couple of months. Is it mandatory to submit the copy of caste certificate. |

Re: Caste correction in 10th CBSE TC sir one of our school student has passed sslc exam and now he is applying for competitive exams. For that he want his sub caste to be mentioned in his TC. Is it possible for us to give another duplicate TC mentioning his sub caste.he has produced his sub caste certificate by the authorities now.please help me |

Re: Caste correction in 10th CBSE TC It's your fault dear, student belonging to reserved category must have to submit their caste certificate before 10th board examination to get mentioned in certificates. But, if you have done the mistake the only option for you is to visit your school ( school issues transfer certificate ) to issue new certificate with correction. |

Re: Caste correction in 10th CBSE TC As mentioned by you that you have a valid caste certificate. So, no one can deny you admission under reservation quota and you can apply to any college or school even if your caste isn't mentioned in Transfer certificate. But if you still want it to get changed then contact your school authorities or CBSE regional office. |

Re: Caste correction in 10th CBSE TC You can contact your school and talk to them about it. But from my experience one doesn't need to specify caste on Transfer Certificate and can apply in any college under reservation quota if you have a valid caste certificate with you. Till you have a valid caste certificate, no one can deny you admission under reservation quota. |

Re: Caste correction in 10th CBSE TC There is not any caste mention on the certificate of any board or university. so you don't need to do anything for the classes you have passed. But while you are applying for further admission or job at that time you will have to produce your cast certificate... |
