Re: What are the codes for filling out UPSC application forms? There are many exams being conducted by upse throughout the year. The application form in your hand is filled with codes which are difficult to understand .Due to incomplete information like educational qualification,age etc. I am unable to know for which exam are you going to appear. But,don't be disheartened because there are many newspapers like Employment News which gives the whole information about examinations (age,eligibility criteria etc.) They'll also explain how to fill the form |

Re: What are the codes for filling out UPSC application forms? Hello friend, UPSC conducts various examination and the eligibility criteria differs as per the departments and jobs. Combined Medical Services exam To be eligible for the exam, you must hold MBBS degree. The maximum age limit for the exam is 32 years. Combined Defense Service Exam This examination is conducted for recruitment of candidates in all the defense forces. For IMA, you must hold a bachelors degree of a recognized university and must be within the age limit of 19-24 years. For Naval Academy, you must have done B.Sc with physics and maths or B.E. The age limit for the same is 19-22 years. For Air-Force Academy, you must hold a bachelors degree with physics and maths at +2 level or B.E. The age limit is 19-23 years. Civil Service Exam The examination is conducted for recruitment of IPS/IAS officers. To take the test, you must be a graduate within the age limit of 21-30 years. Engineering Service Exam This examination is conducted for recruitment of engineers in public sector. To be eligible for the exam, you must hold a degree in engineering from a recognized university. The age limit for the exam is 21-30 years. Apart from these examination, there are various other examination conducted by UPSC. For complete information, click here |
