Re: Reputed colleges offering BE(Petroleum Engineering) in India B.E(Bachelor of Engineering) is 4 year program for those students who have completed their Senior Secondary in science stream with PCM(Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) as their main subject. Petroleum Engineering is not a shouted course among Indians because it is very expensive as well as demands more physical activities which some category of students may not prefer. Also, very few universities or colleges in India offer B.E in Petroleum. Top universities for B.E(Petroleum) >Indian Institute of Technology >University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun >Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad >Pandit Dindayal Petroleum University, Gandhinagar For admission in these institutes, students need to score better in JEE Advance. JEE(Joint Entrance Examination) conducted by CBSE once in a year for admission in technical courses. To appear in JEE Advance, students need to qualify JEE Mains first. Some universities also conduct their own entrance examination for admission. |
