Re: What should be the minimum percentage in Mathematics to be eligible for NIMCET?

NIMCET refers to National Institute of Technology MCA Common Entrance Test and it is held for offering admission in MCA (Master of Computer Application) degree course across various participating NITs (National Institute of Technology).

The minimum education required for appearing in NIMCET is a B.Sc/B.Sc (Hons)/ BCA /BIT degree course with at least 60% marks ( or 6.5 CGPA on the 10 pointer scale ) from a recognized university. Marks relaxation of 5% is required for SC/ST category candidates. Students having pursued B.E./B.Tech degree course are also eligible.

So, having completed your graduation degree course with 65% marks, you are eligible for appearing in NIMCET irrespective of your marks in Mathematics but your bachelor's degree must be in the above mentioned stream.

NIMCET examination is conducted every year for admission in MCA course.

No minimum requirement in mathematics or any other paper. The overall percentage will be taken in consideration.

So, you are eligible to appear in examination. Candidates after qualifying in examination will become eligible to get admission in MCA course in NIT.
