Re: Availability of jobs after clearing NET and completion of M.Sc in Physics? After clearing NET examination you are eligible for recruitment as professor or as JRF ( Junior Research Fellowship ). The above two are the best option for candidates after qualifying in NET. It is conducted by UGC. For JRF the age limit is 19-28 years with relaxation for reserved category. |

Re: Availability of jobs after clearing NET and completion of M.Sc in Physics? As you have cleared National Eligibility test after Master of Science in Physics, you are eligible for lectureship. You need to wait for lectureship notification of different university. You can apply for notification when application form is released. You will have to clear written test and interview for becoming lecturer in government colleges. Other than that, you can apply for banking exams, SSC exams, UPSC exams. |

The starting salary is nearly about 37 to 67000 and mostly depends upon the institute where you are joining. Moreover you can also apply in corporate companies mainly for research investigation. |

If you are not interested in Ph.D you can appear in NET examination and after qualifying in the examination will become eligible for selection as a Professor. You are also eligible for Junior Research Fellowship and after qualifying in NET. The required eligibility to appear in NET is that candidate must have passed master degree from a recognised university with minimum 55% relaxation for reserved category. |
