He also serves as management and corporate caretaker.CA Programme is of two years from the training period. Jobs for CA: Lecturer/Professor Advisor to Government Head-Training Chief Accountant CFO(Chief Financial Officer) Chief Manager-Management Audits Chief Manager-System Chartered Accountants work as Finance managers,Financial Controllers,Financial Advisors or Directors. Their main areas of work include Accountancy,Auditing,Cost Accountancy,Taxation,Investigation and Consultancy. In Government Sector: Chartered Accountants are required for the finance of various Government offices. Interested persons can apply through the government website of respective departments or can personally submit their resumes in the HR department. Re: What is the scope of CA in government sector? Dear student, You can join in army after completed CA. You can join in army by writing the CDS exam. The CDS exam is conducted by the UPSC board twice in an year. This exam is for the graduates to join in the defence. So by appearing this exam and SSB interview followed by this will select you in the army and a job that matches your profession will be provided by the authorities. |

CA specializes in accounting, auditing and taxation .There are a number of employment opportunities for CA. The course comprises of both theoretical and practical training .Employment opportunities are available in different fields. The different functions of a chartered accountant include the following: Accounting Auditing Taxation Cost Accountancy Special company work Executors and Trustees Directorship Company secretarial work Investigation Shared valuation work The functions of a CA deals with both the managerial aspects as well as the financial aspects .One has to have a very good knowledge in the latest trends in business to be a good CA. Also one must have really good numerical skills . Some of the career options available for a chartered accountant are : Establish independent professional practice Provide service in the area of capital market Practice from a firm of chartered accountants Take on one’s own business enterprise The best choice will solely depend on one’s interest. There are a lot of CA firms found in the country .CA fresher can get employed in banks in auditing sections as well as in auditor general office.
