>>After completing M.Sc. in Botany, you can apply for Environmental Science in UGC NET exam.

>>Subject code for environmental science is 89.

>>You must have secured 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master's Degree or equivalent qualification from University/Institutions recognized by UGC.
5% relaxation in marks is given to SC/ST/PWD applicants.

After completing M.Sc. in Botany, you can apply for Environmental Science in UGC NET exam.

Subject code for environmental science is 89.

Eligibility criteria for UGC NET Exam
  • You must have secured 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master's Degree or equivalent qualification from University/Institutions recognized by UGC.
  • 5% relaxation in marks is given to SC/ST/PWD applicants.
  • Only those candidates can apply for UGC NET Exam, who are currently in the final year of their post graduation. In this case, the candidates will be admitted provisionally and they will have to complete their PG degree within two years from the date of the NET result with the required percentage.

You have completed M.Sc in Botany, So you can apply for UGC NET exam in Life Science.

But your masters degree marks must be above 55% from a recognized University.

There are no age criteria.

For JRF post, your age should be below 28 years.
