Re: Shortcut methods to solve Maths questions? maths is not a hard course and it really does not need a day and night workouts .infact one can improve his ability in maths just by analytical and through his simple logic ways. indeed the other name of analytical and logical ways are can be treated as synonyms of short cuts.so to do well in maths short cuts are necessary. |

Re: Shortcut methods to solve Maths questions? First of all you have to get command on the basic calculations. Some people say that we should go for vedic maths etc. but i strongly recommend that you simply go with the traditional method of basic calculations. With a little concentration you can solve many problems faster than the vedic type methods. Now for the problems, just practice with a little care. Every time you solve a problem, try to find out some relation between the question and it's solution and try to apply that relation on other similar problems. But above all just practice, practice, and practice. |

Practice is the only key to success along with accuracy well friend dont waste time looking for shortcuts. you wont be able to apply them in exam... there is much less time to consciously do anything... do whichever thing comes first to your mind. for that you should follow what you learned whole life. shortcuts are not much useful. if you want you can learn vedic ,maths .. they may be a little helpful. Join some good coaching they will teach you all that is needed. and practice a lot as much as you can .. in limited time mock/practice papers etc. |

Re: Shortcut methods to solve Maths questions? shortcut methods are not to be told but to b made...lets just say in case of mcq;s answers are rit in front of u...thus u just want to make eqns using ur questions and check if any 1 satisfies the eqn..tat gives u the answer for eg suppose theys ask for image of a point with respect to a line.. know tat the image would b perpendicular to the given line thus find eqn of perpendicular line and substitute the answer to find out the correct answers |

Even though, as to learn the short cut method you need to have an understanding about the actual step by step process. The only way as to excel in maths subject is through methodical practice. You need to have a clear understanding of the basic formulae as to solve the problems very fast. There is no short cut other than to learn the formulae. You can purchase books from a shop nearby and practice with it. These books have many short cut method and its applications. |
