The eligibility criteria for admission in Bachelor of Technology in AICTE approved institute:

Student should be 10+2 passed with PCM subject and appeared for JEE or any other engineering entrance examination.

Diploma in engineering student in regular mode can apply for AICTE approved B.Tech courses.

Distance diploma is an invalid course.

Distance diploma candidates are not eligible to pursue Bachelor of Technology from any AICTE approved university.

Only those candidates who have done diploma in regular mode from a AICTE recognized institute can apply for LEET exam or JEE to get admission in regular B.Tech college.

The acronym AICTE stands for All India council for Technical Education.

AICTE does not approve any college which offers distance diploma or bachelor's degree in engineering.

It means that your diploma is not an approved course. You can not take admission in any regular B.Tech course after pursuing correspondence diploma in civil engineering.
